POOL POLICIES

  1. Outside food or beverages may not be brought into the pool area.   In addition, food or drink may not be ordered & delivered from outside establishments (pizza, etc.) to persons at the pool.  If food is ordered and delivered, it will be refused at the gate.  Food or drink will not be permitted within 10 feet of the edge of the pool due to Health Department regulations.  ALL REFUSE MUST BE DISPOSED OF PROPERLY.
  2.  Pets, with the exception of seeing eye dogs, are not permitted in the complex during scheduled pool activities.
  3. Smoking is not allowed within the pool complex.  Please limit smoking to designated areas.
  4. Pool hours may be shortened or extended due to inclement weather, maintenance, or special functions.
  5. A ten (10) minute break will be called by lifeguards each hour, during which time only persons age 18 and older shall be permitted in the pool.
  6. Pool use shall be permitted only during regular hours or approved functions when an employed lifeguard or staff member is on duty.
  7. In the event of lightening or thunder, the pool and pool area shall be cleared and no one shall re-enter the areas until a staff member gives authorization.
  8. Because this is a family facility, swimmers must wear appropriate swimwear.  Cut-offs, shorts, t-shirts or other “street clothes” will not be permitted in pool.  Swim suits should be appropriate for a family facility.
  1. Because this is a family-oriented facility, all persons using the pool should conduct themselves in an appropriate manner.  Vulgar, profane and/or obscene language or behavior will not be tolerated and the person(s) involved will be asked to leave.
  2. All persons using the swimming pools must take a shower before entering the pool.
  3. Spitting, spouting of water, blowing the nose, etc. in the pools shall be strictly prohibited.
  4. Persons wearing bandages, or those with open blisters, cuts, skin diseases, sore or inflamed eyes, nasal or ear discharge, or any communicable disease, shall not be allowed to use the pool.
  5. Skateboards, roller blades, roller skates, and bicycles will not be permitted on tennis courts or pool decks.
  6. Pool season memberships are good only for hours that the pool is open to the public.
  7. Running, throwing objects, pushing or dunking others in the pool, or any similar boisterous or rough play shall not be permitted in or around the pools, restroom, dressing rooms, or shower areas.
  8. The use of radios and CD players is restricted to the “walkman” type with headphones only.
  9. Youth participants under the age of 10 years, whether paying per visit or on a seasonal pass, must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 16 years.  This responsible person must be designated in writing by the child’s parent or guardian, who will be responsible for their conduct and safety.
  10. Any object brought into the pool area is subject to the approval of the lifeguards.  Personal inflatable are allowed, but may be restricted based on the number of persons using the pool.  Use of inflatable will be at the discretion of the pool staff. 
  11. The children’s pool is for the benefit and enjoyment of children 5 years or younger.  Children using this pool must be accompanied at all times by a parent, guardian, or a responsible person who is present in the immediate area surrounding the children’s pool.
  12. Pool staff have the authority to enforce pool policies.  Supervisory management may expel anyone from the pool area who acts improperly or fails to cooperate in maintaining safety or observing pool rules.  Continued improper actions may result in banishment from the pool for the season.
